It has been over a month since my last post and I really have no excuses. We have had tolerably interesting stuff going on and I have had time to write short posts here and there, I just haven't. Oh well, life continues to go on.
Our biggest news lately in that Baby of Dreams went to nursery today and is officially okay with it. We went two weeks ago and I stayed in there the whole time with her. She was a bit nervous and made it clear that it was a good thing I was there. She was sick last week so we did not make it to church at all. I went with her today and it was clear she did not need me, but I could not tear myself away until about 45 minutes until it was all over with. When I got back to pick her up, she had just barely started to get sad. (Nursery is from 12-2 which is right in the middle of nap time, so I feel a bit of sadness is totally understandable.) I figured she would be okay with nursery and I am pleased that she likes it. She even waved and told a new friend "bye bye" when she left. I can't believe my baby is 18 months old and in nursery!
Tomorrow I will be 17 weeks along. We find out what Gub Gub is in two weeks. At the moment this pregnancy is going by somewhat fast. The morning sickness is getting better, I think. I have had two different types of colds and a flu thing in the past four weeks, so that has been overshadowing a lot of stuff. And with work and helping the Husband with school, things have been busy around here.
Isn't it wonderful that they can start Nursery? I love that Kate can go legally now! How fun it will be to find out what you are having!
ReplyDeletenursery is a blessing. but it is sad when they go. Ethan went and never looked back, never wanted me. It made me sad.
ReplyDeleteBut yey, finding out the gender of your next one. Any thoughts on what it is? When we found out with Caleb, it just verified what I already knew. It's still exciting. I can't believe it's already time. It's going by fast
