Skinny Baby

So we got Baby of Dreams weighed last week and I don't quite know what to think. She is now 11 months old, eats really well and walks (sometimes runs, everywhere). She is happy most of the time, except when she is telling you why she thinks she should be doing something you do not want her to do. Whenever I see her next to other babies her age, I think "baby of dreams really is on the small side" or "wow that is a big baby". She weighs 15 lbs. 10 ounces. She seems normal to me and almost every other baby seems overweight. My mom says I was a skinny baby too and says I shouldn't worry. And I don't too much. But I would like to move her into a big car seat and have her face forward, but know that won't happen for a while yet. Oh well, at least I know she is healthy and happy. We we get her into that car seat eventually.

  1. On my blog, I have a link to "LeeLou Blogs"- if you scroll down far enough on her site, she has a bunch of different church icons that you can use.

  2. She is a doll! So cute! The weight thing can be really frustrating, but I agree with your mom. Tanner was a chunky littly guy, until he turned one - he's 2 1/2 now, and only weighs about 25 lbs, Taylor is only 7 months and weighs almost 17 lbs...I somehow think Tanner will be passed up...genes are weird that way! Good Luck with the forward facing carseat stuff!

  3. Wow! I have it the other way. My 6-month old weighs almost 23 pounds and is huge. He looks like he should be a lot older, so people wonder why isn't walking and talking yet. I have to explain that he's only 6 months old, and not developmentally slow! :)

  4. Ellie was only 17 lbs at 16 months. My brothers cat weighed more than her. The doctor wasn't concerned at all. I was really little too. The doctor said she was fine to face forward because she had the needed strength for it!!
